Hit and Run Driver Killed Friend Over Gas Money Dispute

A very bizarre situation led to a fatal accident when two friends were arguing over gas money in a street. One of the women got in her vehicle and ran over the other one. After hitting the victim, she left the scene in her SUV.

Later, she turned herself in and is in jail for investigation of first-degree murder.

All witnesses said it was not an accident. One witness said that the woman seemed drunk.

The witness that called police said that the driver waited for the woman to get on the sidewalk, hit the gas and then cranked the wheel hard left and hit her.

The woman died in the street.

Detectives say the two women were friends. Records show that the hit and run driver has a history of assault, drugs and prostitution.
