A head-on injury accident shutdown several lanes on State Route 18 near Preston Monday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The two cars crashed around 6:30 a.m. near Raging River on Highway 18 two miles south of Interstate 90.

Both female drivers received non-life threatening injuries although one had to be extricated from her vehicle.
