Help Jackalon Thompson Win a $1,000 Scholarship

Jackalon Thompson is competing to win a $1,000 scholarship through the Davis Law Group Law & Justice Scholarship Program. We’ve created this page so you can read all about Jackalon and how she wishes to make a difference in the field of Law & Justice, as well as how you may be able to help support her in this contest.

About the Contestant

Jackalon will begin her senior year at the University of Phoenix in the fall, where she is working towards a bachelor’s degree in the criminal justice program. She has worked hard to maintain a 3.25 GPA throughout her college career, and is also actively involved in the community through a nonprofit organization called Empower All.

After completing her degree at the University of Phoenix, Jackalon hopes to pursue a career in the criminal justice field, particularly one that allows her to assist youth in the community with making positive choices and contributing to society. She hopes the scholarship will assist her with the costs of her tuition and other expenses.

How You Can Support Jackalon

After a nominee is approved, the student will have until December 18th, 2015 to participate in the Community Engagement & Support portion of the contest. First, the nominee must share a link to their own nominee page on Facebook (the nominee page will be posted to Davis Law Group's official website after the nominee's application has been accepted). Second, the nominee should ask friends and family to support their efforts by clicking the Facebook "Like" button on the nominee's page.

All nominees will have from the moment their official nominee page is published on the Davis Law Group website until December 18th, 2015 to acquire as many "Likes" on their page as possible. Each Facebook "Like" for the nominee's page will count as one point toward the nominee's overall score, and there is no limit to the number of points from Facebook "Likes" that a nominee can earn. Any "Likes" acquired after the December 18th, 2015 deadline will not count toward the nominee's total number of "Likes."
