A head-on crash on the Fremont Bridge sent three people to the hospital. At least one person has suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and had to be transported to Harborview Medical Center. Two other people suffered minor injuries and were taken to different hospitals.
The accident happened shortly before 11am and involved a van and a sport-utility vehicle in the midspan of the bridge. No other details about the cause of the crash are known at this time.
