Head-On Collision in Kenmore Leaves One Fatality
A woman was killed in Kenmore on Tuesday morning when her car crossed the median and ran head-on into another vehicle. The driver and passenger of the other car survived but suffered from serious injury.
The crash occurred at the 6500 block of Northeast Bothell Way and 65th Avenue Northeast shortly before 7 a.m., when roads in the area were reportedly slushy. King County sheriff spokeswoman Cindi West says police are trying to determine if the slick roads contributed to the accident.
