A motorcyclist who had a head-on collision with a Dodge Durango on Chuckanut Drive back on August 14th was pronounced died on August 16th. Shawn T. McCarthy of Marysville was driving his 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle around a curve when he crossed the center line near the Whatcom-Skagit county line and collided with the Durango. McCarthy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and later died there.
