An injured teen-aged girl says she doesn't remember getting hit by a train while walking along tracks on her way to school. The girl says she missed her bus on Friday and decided that following the tracks would be the fastest way to get to school. She told investigators that she she heard the train behind her but thought it was moving very slowly and that she would be safe. The girl was clipped by the train and suffered concussion, a neck fracture and 38 leg stitches. She says she blacked out at the moment of impact and remembers waking up with the engineer standing over her. Doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
