Comments (0)
A 17-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 3 near Gorst Tuesday morning. According to police, the girl was driving a Mazda Protégé southbound on Highway 3 in the right lane when the driver of another vehicle attempted to enter the same lane. The girl swerved to avoid a collision with the other car, which caused her to enter a ditch and roll the vehicle.
The car finally came to rest on its side, but was then facing the opposite direction on the highway. The girl was taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton for her injuries and was released after treatment. Police say the driver of the other vehicle did not stop.
