Girl, 13, Struck by Kent Police Car

A 13-year-old girl was struck by a Kent police car Tuesday night while she was attempting to walk across the street. According to police, the officer was responding to a routine call when the girl emerged from behind a parked vehicle about 70 feet in front of a crosswalk and was hit.

Officials reported that the girl’s injuries do not appear to be serious. Police reports maintain that the little girl was at fault for the incident.
