The woman that was killed in the accident in Chelan during Memorial Day weekend when a driver fell asleep, will have several fundraisers in her honor.
The expecting mother was on her daily jog when a man who
fell asleep swerved off the road and hit Lisa Marie Palmer.
Her husband Ryan Palmer said she was a happy woman, full of life.
"She was everything to me," Ryan Palmer said. "Her and I had big dreams."
The friends of Lise are planning fundraisers for her two young sons’ education.
"We just want to make sure the boys are taken care of. Growing up without a mommy, want them to have everything they need," said Lexi Herzog, Lise's friend.
The fundraisers include a run, a car wash and selling wristbands that says the Lise and the unborn baby’s name.
"I can't even say how much it touches my heart," said Craig Macadangdang, Lise's father.
On Aug. 20, a few miles from her grave site in Heritage Park, there will be a run in her honor. You can find more information about it at runforlise.com
The
driver of the car that struck Lise Palmer was not charged. Her husband said he understood since it was an accident.
