Four people were injured when their car was hit by a snow slide while driving on Interstate 90.

Around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, four people were traveling on Interstate 90 near milepost 58 when snow slid over the the eastbound lanes, hitting the Nissan Pathfinder. The force of the snow pushed the vehicle into a concrete barrier.

The Pathfinder blocked the right lane of traffic while snow covered teh rest of the eastbound lanes.

All four people in the car were injured and taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. The 51-year-old driver sustained multiple lacerations and his three passengers, a 42-year-old woman and two children aged 7 and 3 also suffered lacerations.

The Nissan was totaled and eastbound Interstate 90 was closed as of 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
