Four Injured In Friday Night Accidents | Seattle Injury Lawyer

Three adults, a teenager and a young child were all injured late Friday in two separate crashes within minutes of each other.

At 11:37 p.m. that night, a Chevrolet pickup driven by Kara Jordon, a 41-year-old woman from Benton City, was headed west on Aaron Way in Richland while approaching Highway 240 when she failed to stop at a stoplight and was struck by a Dodge pickup driven by Calvin Courtright, a 23-year-old man from Moses Lake.

Jordan was rushed to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Her 13-year-old passenger, Rylee Smith of Benton City, was also taken to Kadlec.

Jordon was treated for minor injuries and released later Friday. According to a hospital spokeswoman, Smith was treated and released Saturday.

Courtright was not hurt in the collision.

At 11:49 p.m. later Friday night, a Toyota pickup driven by Erasmo S. Godinez, a 35-year-old man from Pasco, was driving near the 100 block of Midvale Road in Sunnyside when he collided head-on with a Geo Prism driven by Angelica De La Fuente, a 31-year-old woman from Mabton.

De La Fuente was taken to Prosser Memorial Hospital and was reported to be in stable condition Saturday.

De La Fuente’s passenger, Andrew L. Meirs, a 1-year old boy, was taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital and later flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition has not yet been reported.
