A multiple motor vehicle collision involving four cars occured on Sunday afternoon around 3:45 pm on Highway 9, between Lundeen Park Way and Soper Hill Road near Lake Stevens. All four drivers of the cars were transported to area hospitals but the extent of their injuries is unknown. All lanes going both directions on Highway 9 were closed for hours while the police investigation the scene of the accident. The cause of the accident was not released.
