A woman received serious car accident injuries Thursday afternoon on Highway 97A just south of Entiat.
Donna E. Kain was sent to Central Washington Hospital's ICU and was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center. Four other people were sent to Central Washington Hospital with injuries.
The accident took place around 4:50 p.m. when George S. Barnett of Wenatchee who was driving his Chevrolet Monte Carlo southbound crossed the divider. The Monte Carlo hit a Mini Cooper going northbound head-on.
The Monte Carlo then hit two other cars, also driving northbound.
