Four Car Accident Injuries in Yakima | Personal Injury Lawyer

A three vehicle car accident injured four people around 7:45 Sunday evening in the Yakima area.

One man was sent to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. Three others were taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for their injuries.

The crash took place between Summitview Avenue and Rocky Top Road near Yakima.

The man taken to Harborview, Mario Zarinana Romero, was driving his Plymouth Neon eastbound on Summitview when he crossed the centerline, sideswiped a Westbound Honda Prelude and hit a westbound GMC pick-up head-on.

The driver of the Honda was uninjured. The driver and two passengers in the pick-up were sent to memorial hospital.

Alcohol is thought to be a factor in the crash. It is unknown if the occupants of the vehicles were wearing seatbelts.

It is our hope that all the people injured in the crash make a full and rapid recovery.

Seat belt statistics show that in Washington state, there were 200 people ages 18-34 killed in car accidents. Of those people, 179 of them were not wearing a seat belt.
