A Washington Fatal car Accident left a woman dead in Sumner Saturday morning.

Jennifer Carino, a Sumner resident died at the scene of the accident.

According to East Pierce County Fire and Rescue, the accident took place just before two in the morning Saturday on Traffic Avenue and Thompson Street in Sumner.

Firefighters from the East Pierce County Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of the accident where Carino, who was driving her Sedan, had crashed into a traffic pole.

She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated by Sumner Police.
