Fatal Semi Truck Accident Kills Two - $1 Million Dollar Wrongful Death Settlement

Semi Truck Accident Causes Wrongful Death

semi truck accidentA violent collision between a semi truck and a passenger sedan ended in tragedy.  The distracted driver of the tractor trailer had to make a sudden evasive maneuver to avoid striking another vehicle.  The truck veered hard left and the driver lost control.  The tractor/trailer flew across the grass median that separated east and west-bound lanes of traffic.  The front of the tractor struck the driver’s side of oncoming vehicle.  The vehicle was ripped in half lengthwise and the passengers were ejected from the vehicle and died instantly.
The family filed a wrongful death action which later settled for $1 million dollars.
