Outcome: Two Dead, Three Injured
Washington State Patrol believes that a fatal crash on I-5 was caused by a driver under the influence.
A Puyallup man was traveling in his vehicle in the northbound lanes and then crossed the median into the southbound lanes causing a five-car crash.
55-year-old Bob Galaviz was killed in the crash. Georgia Steele (age 61) also died in the crash. Her husband was injured.
Two others involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
The driver who caused the accident was also injured and is listed in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center.
Washington State Patrol is asking anyone who saw the collision, the events leading up to it to contact Trooper Detective Sergeant Moate at 425-649-4370 ext. 146 or Detective Ruth Medeiros at 425-649-4370 ext. 119.
