Elderly Seattle Male Pedestrian Hit by Car l Crosswalk Accident Lawyer

An elderly pedestrian injured at the eastern edge of Seattle’s International District, near Chinatown around 8p.m. after being hit by a car at 14th Avenue S. and S. Washington Street. 

The elderly pedestrian, whose name was not disclosed, was admitted into Harborview Medical Center that same evening. 

Southbound traffic had stopped to let the man cross, but he was hit by a vehicle travelling northbound, police spokesman Renee Witt said. 

The driver, who was also an elderly male was uninjured but shaken up over the incident Witt said.
Most pedestrian seattle accidents occur on weekends in the evening, and statistically, elderly pedestrians are most likely to die as a result of crosswalk or pedestrian injuries.
