A car and a dump truck collided head-on just before 6 p.m. on May 27th. The exact circumstances of the accident are under investigation by the Kent police department. The driver of the car was seriously injured and there was heavy damage to his vehicle. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. The dump-truck driver was not injured.
