Drunk driving is suspected in a vehicle collision that resulted in six people being transported to Harborview Medical Center Saturday evening.
Apparently a woman was driving south on 23rd Avenue South and then turned left to head east on South King Street at approximately 8pm. She then struck a northbound car that contained five people in it. The 5-passenger vehicle was pushed into a tree. Two passengers in the struck vehicle suffered fractured bones. The other three plus the driver of the first car had minor injuries.
According to Seattle Police the driver of the left-turning car showed numerous signs intoxication.
