Six months ago, 14 year old Danny Morse was hit by a drunk driver who while breaking in his new brand new skate board with a friend. Yesterday, this very sad story came to an end in a Pierce County court room with Darrell Ross, the drunk driver, pleading guilty to vehicular homicide.
Upon accepting his guilty plea, the Ross received a sentence of 2 years and 7 months, however his official sentencing is scheduled for July 5. Had Ross not accepted the plea bargain, he would have been facing life in prison.
