The holidays are upon us! With the New Year less than a month away, firework shows are a common way to celebrate. However, fireworks and dogs do not mix. Dogs get really stressed and intolerant when they hear fireworks. This combination can be very dangerous for children. It is diffcult for children to understand that their sweet dog can become easily tormented. When a dog is in distress, it is a bad time for children to hang on dogs - especially when kids tend to get close to the dog's face. If you plan on having children over at your home on New Year's and you have a dog, it is strongly advised to keep your dog locked in a room later that night, for the sake of avoiding any injuries. Dog bites can cause severe injuries and sometimes death. Do not let your child be a victim of a distressed dog.
