Distracted driving kills thousands of people everyday. Yet so many people still continue to drive negligently.
A campaign that contains small web videos entitled "Faces of Distracted Driving" shows the lives of several people that lives were lost due to the carelessness of another driver.
Sixty-one-year-old Linda Doyle was on her way to do volunteer work when she was going through an intersection and a 20-year-old girl talking on her cell phone hit Linda going 45 miles per hour. Linda died instantly.
Linda was known for being selfless and very caring of others. She committed her life to helping others through volunteer work.
Her life, and so many others were gone in an instant due to another driver's negligent choice.

(1) A person operating a moving motor vehicle who, by means of an electronic wireless communications device, sends, reads, or writes a text message, is guilty of a traffic infraction. A person does not send, read, or write a text message when he or she reads, selects, or enters a phone number or name in a wireless communications device for the purpose of making a phone call. See RCW 46.61.668.
