Derek L. Calhoun who was injured in a construction accident has died of his injuries at Harborview Medical Center.
Derek was stuck by the boom of an excavator operated by Cleaver Construction and buried while working at a home construction job site near Southworth. He was helping to install a large take in the ground. He was dug out and treated at the scene and then flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
