A deadly motorcycle accident killed a Kent man Saturday night on Highway 512.

Washington State Patrol identified the man as James P. Suddoth. He died at the scene of the crash.

The accident took place when Suddoth was riding his 2007 Harley Davidson Road King eastbound on Highway 12 near 94th Street East. He lost control while changing lanes, veered off the road and struck a cable barrier.

Suddoth was thrown from his Harley, landed in the road and was hit by three vehicles. The driver of the first car, a light colored 4-door sedan fled the scene. The second car was a 2003 Nissan Altima and the third was 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck.

There were no other injuries in this accident. All the cars and the motorcycle were damaged.

It is not known whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. Suddoth was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
