One person was airlifted and four others transported to the hospital after a two-car accident Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. on State Highway 507 near Military Road.
Kara Gower, 20, of McMinnville, was traveling south in a 2003 Toyota Camry when she crossed the center line.
Gower struck Laurie Bischof, 48, of Spanaway.
Bischof was traveling northbound in a 2001 Honda Civic.
Bischof had three passengers, David Bischof, 55, of Roy, and two 16-year-old girls from Roy and Graham.
Everyone was wearing a seatbelt.
Gower was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center and Hospital in Seattle.
Bischof and her three passengers were transported to Providence St. Peter Hosital in Olympia to be treated for minor injuries.
Both cars were totalled and impounded.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this accident.
