Three people were thrown from their car Friday in a Poulsbo rollover car accident on Highway 3.

According to Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue, two children were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center and another child and two adults also in the car were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Washington State Patrol said the car rolled over multiple times near NW Thompson Road. The roof of the van had ripped open and debris was strewn all over the road.

Highway 3 was shut down for a few hours that afternoon.
