A child pedestrian accident injury in Lynwood took place Friday evening around rush hour. The driver of the car which hit the boy was uninjured.
The boy, just 13 years old, was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
According to Washington State Patrol, the boy was with a group of pedestrians crossing Highway 99 near 148th Street SW from the east to west side of the road when he was hit by a car.
The accident took place around 5:30 when the boy crossed upon being waved across the road by some cars that had stopped.
We hope that the boy injured in this accident is able to make a speedy recovery.
