Car theif t-bones pickup during high speed chase | Seattle Injury Lawyer

Early Thursday morning, a high speed police chase on the outskirts of Pierce County city ended in a severe crash.

Just after 4:30 a.m. police officers of Lakewood found the driver in a stolen Nissan 300 around 34^th Ave. S. and 86^th Street S. in Lakewood.

When pulled over by cops, the car thief decided to take off which began the high-speed chase which continued until the Nissan T-boned a pickup truck in the intersection of Canyon Road and 72^nd Street near Puyallup.

According to Tacoma police, the driver of the stolen Nissan was ejected from the car upon impact and rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not seriously injured in the crash.

Investigating officers later found a gun at the scene of the crash.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the details of the crash, while Lakewood police are investigating the origins of the stolen Nissan.
