A vehicle lost control Thursday in downtown Seattle, near Pike Place market. According to sources, the car was heading down Stewart Street, and lost control crossing 1st avenue. The car struck the side of a building before pinning a woman to a parked truck. There were two other pedestrians injured in the accident, and all three of them were transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested by police and is being held for evaluation of impairment. Allegedly, the man underwent a seizure that caused him to lose control of his vehicle, however that information is not yet confirmed.
