RENTON - A crash that launched a car onto a sidewalk near Renton caused the vehicle to hit several pedestrians who were near a crosswalk. Apparently a driver ran a red light at the intersection of Parkside Avenue and Petrovitsky Road in what is known as the Fairwood area of King County. As a result, two cars crashed. One ran into another car, the other hopped the sidewalk and hit into two young teen girls. It appears that the driver suffered a broken leg but the pedestrians were okay.
