Car Accident Sends Impaired Driver to Hospital
A two-car accident on the light rail tracks in South Seattle resulted in one driver being transported to a local hospital Monday afternoon, according to Seattle police officials. The driver who was injured is suspected of being under the influence at the time of the accident.
The accident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. near Martin Luther King Way South and South Roxbury Street. Authorities momentarily suspended rail service at the time of the crash, but no one else was injured.
