A bicyclist was injured in a collision in Bremerton on Friday morning.

Around 5:30 p.m. a 37-year-old man was heading east on his bicycle on Fairgrounds Road when he failed to stop at a red light at the Highway 303 intersection. He was struck by a 62-year-old woman driving a Toyota sedan.

The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
