A cyclist who worked as a Univeristy of Washington faculty lecturer in the Department of Asian Languages and Literature suffered head injuries after she was struck by a vehicle. She was taken to Harborview after the accident and died shortly there after. Apparently she was not wearing a helmet. Neither the driver or passengers of the vechile that was involved were injured in the accident. .
