Bellingham Car Accident News - May 6, 2008

BELLINGHAM - A car smashed through a plate glass window at a Bellingham Starbucks injuring five people--none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.  No decision has been made on possible charges against the driver.

BELLINGHAM - Two teens involved in a street race that ended in a fatal crash have pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide. The two were sentenced in Whatcom County Superior Court.   The two were weaving in and out of traffic on Feb. 1, 2007, when their car collided with a pickup truck, killing 62-year-old Fred Boettner.  The driver was sentenced to two years and two months in prison.
