A 17-year-old Arlington girl was walking in an intersection that had the walk sign Wednesday morning when a driver her hit her on her way to Air Force Jr. ROTC meeting. Haley Bacon was left in the intersection.
The
driver who hit her got out of the car to make sure she was okay and then got back in her car and drove away. It is reported that she is in her late 40’s or 50’s and driving a beige or gold 4-door sedan.
While Bacon will make a full recovery, her mom still wants answers.
“I don’t know how they’ll sleep tonight,” Tina Kehoe said of the driver who hit her daughter.
She did not suffer any broken bones, but will be on her couch for awhile recovery from her bumps and bruises.
Kehoe hopes the driver will come forward. The family is looking for an apology.
