A 77-year-old woman was crossing on East Yesler Way and 18th Avenue East in Seattle Tuesday morning when she was struck by a car. She suffered a fractured hip and a fractured leg and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
The driver, a 46-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials. She did not show signs of impairment and was released.
