Two Injured In Car Collision on Highway 97

Agustin Ramirez Chavez sustained serious injuries after crossing the centerline on Highway 97. Ramirez was northbound in a 1993 Nissan Altima when he crossed the centerline and collided with a southbound 2006 Nissan Altima driven by Lilia V. Gutierrez. He was taken to Okanogan-Douglas Hospital after the accident. Both vehicles were totaled. Ramirez was cited for the centerline violation and also for driving without a license and insurance.
