There was a three car crash last night on state Highway 500. Two people were injured in the collision. The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of SR500 and St. Johns Boulevard.
A Kia, driven by a 43-year-old woman, turned left against a red light hit a Ford Ranger that was going through the intersection driven by a 20-year-old male driver. After the first hit, the Ranger spun into a Chevrolet Suburban driven by a 31-year-old woman stopped at a red light.
The woman driving the Kia had a 22-year-old passenger in her car and they were both taken to a nearby hospital with head, neck and back pains. Both women have since been released.
The other
drivers involved in the accident were not injured.
The Kia and Ranger were both totaled.
