3 Hospitalized after 5-car Collision in Ballard

DESCRIPTION: 3 people sustained life-threatening injuries Thursday night after a black Ford Fusion sedan struck a Subaru at the 15th Ave NW and NW 75th St intersection in Ballard. The Subaru was then forced into the rear of a Dodge pick-up truck which collided with another Subaru and a Volvo. The suspect as well as the first Subaru's passengers, a man and a 4-year-old girl were taken to Harborview Medical Center but the other drivers sustained minor injuries or were unharmed. A few blocks surrounding the intersection were closed for investigation.
