2 Killed in A Vehicle Accident on Highway 18



Two people were killed in a vehicle accident July 6, 2011 on Highway 18. A 65-year-old man driving a 2006 Subaru Impreza attempted to make a U-turn when a semi-truck collided into his Subaru. The driver died at the scene and the 47-year-old passenger in the Subaru died at Harborview Medical Center.

The driver of the semi-truck, 45-year-old Juan Nunez received no injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt but it unknown if the passenger was wearing hers. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
