16-Year-Old Driving Stolen Vehicle Hits WSP Trooper

driver hits WSP trooper in stolencar

A WSP trooper’s vehicle was hit by a teenager driving a stolen vehicle. The collision happened at State Route 7 and 82nd Street in Pierce County.

A trooper tried to stop a 2000 Honda Civic for speeding and the driver did not pull over. The trooper did not pursue the chase due to erratic speeds and the potential for an accident.

Another trooper was patrolling SR-7 when the driver of the same Honda Civic did not stop at an intersection and hit the trooper in his cruiser.

The stolen car was driven by a 16-year-old male and three juvenile female passengers.

The trooper and the passengers in the other vehicle only received minor injuries. The Honda’s driver is facing charges for felony eluding, possession of stolen property 1st degree and vehicular assault.
