12 Injured in Overturned Bus in Tacoma

Monday morning found commuters on University of Washington – Tacoma’s campus in an overturned bus operated by Pierce County Transit. A spokesperson said that the bus overturned near 19th Ave and Jefferson Street in Tacoma, with weather being the likely culprit in the accident. There were 20 people on the bus, ten of whom were transported to hospitals with non - threatening injuries, and a handful of injuries were treated on - scene.
