1 in Hospital, 1 Faces Charge after Chain Reaction Car Accident | Car Accident Lawyer

Tacoma, WA--

State troopers responded to a four car chain pile up at about 1:25 am Sunday morning.

An investigation has found that three cars were headed south on I-5 as they entered a construction zone. Two of the cars slowed as traffic backed up at the construction site. However, the third car, an Isuzu Rodeo which was driven by a 22 year old man, failed to stop.

The Isuzu slammed into the second car, which then struck the first, causing it to get pushed into another lane where it hit the fourth car.

The driver of the second car, a 51 year old Tacoma womean was rushed to St Joseph's Hospital, fortunately for non-life threatening injuries. Thankfully, none if the other drivers were injured, including a the driver who caused the accident.

The Washington State Patrol have said alcohol and high speed are factors in the crash. The driver of Isuzu is now facing possible vehicular assault charges.
